Wild Wild West.. in your closet

Being from the Southwest [shout-out to my ABQ], and a cowgirl at heart (even though I’m now an urban SF resident) it was only natural that every summer I get the urge to throw on a wild print with a pair of cowboy boots or grab a fringe sweater off the rack even though it will be over 100 degrees in a few months.I love the western influences and fun and funky prints that are splashed all over the racks this season and can’t wait to rock them in my own summer wardrobe.

Some of my personal favorites include these L.A.M.B. wedges in TO.DIE.FOR. native-esque print.  I would totally rock them with a LWD (little white dress) and a floppy hat, perfect for soaring summer temps and so chic.

If you don’t know how to work either of these trends into your everyday wardrobe start out slow by adding a mini boot like these camel colored ones with skinnies and a slouchy crochet top. I’m absolutely loving the bright pink color of this <see first image>> beach cover up and the fringe is just the cherry on top. Break out the native inside with a printed scarf and a nice white pair of cowboy boots. Super girly and wearable, but still unique.

For all our fashion divas out there, try a bold printed dress for a night out on the town. These three are seriously LUST worthy.

Because cowboys and Indians isn’t just a game for little kids anymore, it’s a way to spice up your style, in a super glam and effortless way. These two trends are also super cohesive together and pair perfectly with any of the aztec-inspired statement necklaces available at GuiltyStar. So go ahead and try it out, I dare you.
