Texture was all over the place this winter, and it’s a trend that will most definitely carry into spring. From layers of fringe to textured embellishments, one of the best ways to remix your wardrobe is to start mixing materials. One fabric at the forefront of this trend is mesh.  Equal parts sporty and glamorous, mesh is easy to dress up or down as needed.  While a mesh inset sweater is decidedly more casual, an effortless mesh tank can be dressed down with jeans and flats or dressed up with a pencil skirt and heels. And if you’re looking for something a little more ladylike, try a classic black dress with subtle mesh details.  The best part is, this trend translates well to accessories.  So if sheer garments are a bit too risqué, or if you’re an accessories nut like me, you still have plenty of options to choose from.  I’m absolutely loving the wide mesh fishnet style fabric incorporated into a number of trending shoe silhouettes this spring.  And of course there’s chainmail inspired metallic mesh, which is perfect for shimmering handbags and edgy jewelry.  Just be careful not to go overboard.  The best way to wear this trend is in small doses, versus a head-to-toe mesh ensemble.
