LOCAL DC DISCOVERIES

Once again I attended the Real Housewives of Northern Virginia event and discovered a view new businesses that I haven’t heard of before. My friend and I started going to the events in January and it kind of became a MUST do each month. We always look forward to it and are eager to see what vendors are attending. Of course we can’t miss out on enjoying a glass of wine, having some delicious food (if applicable) and chit chat.

Shop my look:

Before we dived into the market we made sure our tummies were happy. Unlike last time, we were not disappointed with the food selection. We made sure our plates were fully loaded with everything they had to offer in the self service food bar. It was mouth watering and unforgettable, each bite was delicious! Thank you 703 Bar + Kitchen for a fantastic dinner!

The colorful bag collection cut our eye once we went inside the ballroom. “The creators of Evil Eye Envie hail from Washington, DC and Istanbul, Turkey.  This family business incorporates the best of Istanbul leather quality and craftsmanship while using modern city life and simplicity as inspiration.” Giving back is important to them so they are donating a portion of the profits to support primary and secondary school education for girls in the rural parts of Turkey. The good luck evil eye on each bag will block negativity and preserve power and energy.

For my sport enthusiasts out there… How about a power cycle full-body workout in less then one hour? Zengo Cycle is opening up a new location in the hip Mosaic District. The girls at the station were absolutely lovely and energetic. “Zengo classes are run by certified master instructors and are as welcoming to novices as they are challenging to world-class athletes. There are no annual or monthly membership fees. No egos. No judgment. Nothing stopping you from reaching your peak.”

If any of my readers are from the Washington D.C area, give those businesses some love cause they work very hard to bring something special to our area!

Till next Friday,
